This person worked in the group from 2013 till 2018.

Affiliation: NUAA
Research Area: Photonic Parasitics/Novel components and circuits based on silicon microring resonator
Promotor: Wim Bogaerts
PhD Thesis: Ang Li, Nieuwe vrijheidsgraden voor het ontwerp van microring-resonatoren in silicium, Novel Degrees of Freedom for Design of Silicon Microring Resonators, 4/2018
Mr. Ang Li graduated from an Erasmus Mundus Master Programme in Sep.2013, with master degrees in photonics network from Technical University Berlin, Germany and Scuola Superiore Sant'anna, Pisa, Italy. His master thesis is " A Photonics Integrated Circuit For Multimode Operation".
Before that he received the BSc. from Mcrioelectronics Department of Fudan University, Shanghai, China in July 2011.

From June 2012 til September 2012, he spent 4 months at Fraunhofer--Heinrich Hertz Institute (HHI) in Berlin, as a research assistant, participating in using Cadence AMS to design a SPI/I2C communication protocol for the control of optical active components.

From March 2016 until August 2016 Ang Li conducted a 5-month internship as a research associate under supervision of Ray Beausoleil in the Large-Scale Integrated Photonics group at Hewlett Packard Labs at Palo Alto, CA, USA.
